VMware Completes SpringSource Buy
Palo Alto-based VMware, which develops virtualization software, said this morning that it has completed its acquisition of SpringSource. The acquisition was originally announced August 10th. The deal was worth $362M in cash and equity. SpringSource is a provider of enterprise and web application development tools, and was backed by Accel Partners and Benchmark Capital.
