Qik, Cubic Team On Streaming
Redwood City-based mobile video streaming firm Qik said Tuesday that it has partnered with Cubic Telecom, to offer pre-paid SIM cards for mobile roaming. According to the two, the Qik-branded SIM cards will allow users to broadcast live video from their cell phones and avoid "astronomical" phone bills. Cubic Telecom is a provider of low-cost, mobile roaming services.
