Mux Finds $2.8M For Online Video Streaming Analytics
San Francisco-based Mux, a developer of online video analytics software specifically aimed at improving streaming video performance, has raised $2.8M in a seed funding round. The funding came from SV Angel, Lowercase Capital, Susa Ventures, Liquid 2 Ventures, Advancit Capital, Pathbreaker Ventures, Y Combinator, pus angels Ilya Sukhar (Parse) and James Lindenbaum (Heroku). Mux was founded by Jon Dahl, an includes the founding team of Zencoder and the creators of Video.js.
