Embedded Alley Acquired By EDA Firm
San Jose-based Embedded Alley, a developer of software for creating Google Android and Linux embedded systems, has been acquired by EDA provider Mentor Graphics. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Mentor Graphics, which is based in oregon, said the acquisition will help enhance the firm's Nucleus real time operating system (RTOS).
