Scripped Gets $250K, Merges With Zhura.com
San Francisco-based Scripped, which develops web-based, screenwriting software, has raised $250,000 in angel funding, and merged with competitor Zhura.com. The firms announced the deal to their users Thursday. According to Scripped, the merger was in the "seven figure range." Both companies develops software which enables users to write and edit scripts online. As part of the investment, the firm said it is moving into San Francisco's I/O ventures technology incubator. The company has also added Keith Richman, CEO of Break.com, as an advisor.
