Capella Intelligent Subsystems Gains $20M
San Jose-based Capella Intelligent Subsystems, a developer of wavelength selective switches used in optical multiplexers, said today that it has raised $20M in a new financing round. The round was led by Black Diamond Ventures, and also included SingTel Innov8, Levensohn Partners, Formative Ventures, Lucas Venture Group and Rustic Canyon Ventures. Capella said the round was oversubscribed, and will go towards expanding and strengthening its presence in the reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM) market.
