TaskRabbit Gains $5M
San Francisco-based TaskRabbit, an online service which helps users find service providers via "service networking", has raised $5M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Shasta Ventures, and also included Baseline Ventures, First Round Capital, FLOODGATE, Collaborative Fund, and 500 Startups. Shasta's Sean Flynn joins the company's board as part of the funding. TaskRabbit currently lets users find service providers in Boston and San Francisco. The firm is headed by Leah Busque.
