TaskRabbit Acquired By Ikea
Furniture giant Ikea is acquiring TaskRabbit, the San Francisco-based startup which help people connect with contract labor, according to reports on Thursday. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. TaskRabbit helps link people with contractors and freelancers offering up everything from home repairs to other tasks. TaskRabbit has been casting around for a buyer for the company since at least April.
