TaskRabbit Jumps Up With $13M More
San Francisco-based TaskRabbit, which provides an online marketplace to help people get tasks done by others, has added another, $13M in a funding, the company said this morning. The firm said its Series C was led by the Founders Fund, and also included Shasta Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Baseline Ventures, Shervin Pishevar, and 500 Startups. Bruce Gibney of Founders Fund, along with Rob Chesney (Trunk Club/eBay) are joining the company's board with the funding. TaskRabbit said it will use the new funds to "aggressively" expand its engineering, product, and executive team.
