InMobi Buys Sprout
San Francisco-based InMobi, the venture-backed, mobile advertising network, said today that it has acquired Sprout, a developer of mobile HTML5 rich media advertising software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. InMobi is venture backed by Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers and Sherpalo Ventures; Sprout was venture backed by Polaris Venture Partners, as well as Mitch Kapor and Global Venture Capital.
