Intel Capital Backs Solera Networks
Intel Capital, the venture capital arm of semiconductor firm Intel, has backed a developer of network forensics and capture devices. Salt Lake City, Utah-based Solera Networks said today that it has raised $20M in a funding round, led by Intel Capital, and also including Allegis Capital, Signal Peak Ventures and Trident Capital. Solera's appliances are used for network security and threat mitigation for enterprises.
