Intel Backs Newlans In $15M Funding
Intel Capital, the venture arm of chip giant Intel, is the lead backer of an investment in RF, front end semiconductor developer Newlans, the two said today. Newlans said it raised $15M in its Series B round, which was led by Intel Capital and also included Paladin Capital and Lockheed Martin. Newlans' front end, RF programmable duplexer is used in 4G, LTE mobile devices and small cell hardware.
