Game Closure Snags $12M For HTML5 Game Platform
Mountain View-bsaed GameClosure, which develops JavaScript game SDK's which help customers develop HTML5 games, said today that it has raised $12M in a funding round. The round was led by Highland Capital, and also included Greylock, Benchmark, General Catalyst, and Charles River Ventures. Highland's Andy Miller joins the company's board as part of the funding. Game Closure helps publishers to distribute their games across iOS, Android, and web browsers, eliminating much of the source code porting normally required to handle cross platform games.
