NetApp Buys CacheIQ
Sunnyvale-based network attached storage giant NetApp has acquired CacheIQ, which was working of caching file storage technology. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. CacheIQ had been based in Austin, and had been buildling products based on technology originally developed at StorSpeed. NetApp said it will integrate the intellectual property from CacheIQ into its product offerings over time.
