Urban Airship Buys Tello
Portland- and San Francisco-based Urban Airship, which develops of mobile messaging and push notification software, said this morning that it has acquired Tello, a developer of Apple Passbook management services. Tello was based in Palo Alto, California, where it will remain. Tello was venture-backed by Bullpen Capital, SV Angel, and True Ventures. Financial details of the acquisition deal were not announced by the companies.
