Salesforce.com Backs Mobile Apps Firm Urban Airship
San Francisco-based Salesforce.com has backed mobile apps developer Urban Airship, and is leading a $15.1M, Series C funding round for that firm. According to Urban Airship, Salesforce.com and Verizon, along with its existing investors Foundry Group and True Ventures, invested in the funding round for the company. Urban Airship is based in Portland, and has now raised $21.6M.
