Tiger Global Purchases $50M Of Automattic In Secondary

, the San Francisco firm behind the popular WordPress blogging services and software, said that Tiger Global has purchased $50M in a secondary transaction. The investment move was announced by Matt Mullenweg, the founder of WordPress,
on his personal blog
. Mullenweg said the acquisition came from its existing investors and employees, and is the largest secondary transaction in its stock so far.
