KnowNow, Automattic Partner On Blog Authoring
Sunnyvale-based KnowNow and Automattic said today that the two are partnering to market a version of Automattic's WordPress blog authoring product to the enterprise market. KnowNow said that it will market, sell, and support Automattic's blog tool as KnowNow WordPress Enterprise Edition. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. KnowNow is backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, Levensohn Venture Partners, Palomar Ventures, Presidio Ventures and RSS Investors. Automattic is backed by Blacksmith Capital, CNET, Polaris Venture Partners, and Radar Partners.
