Weotta, a developer of mobile event and local activity discovery apps, has raised a round of funding from Google Ventures, David Morin, and TenOneTen Ventures. The firm, which was seeded by Data Collective, Crosslink Capital, and Eric Blachford, said Thursday that it has launched a "take-me-out" app to help users "discover and share the world around you and live life in the moment."
