The Climate Corporation, a provider of data-based, weather insurance and weather monitoring services, has been acquired by
Monsanto for $930M. According to Monsanto, the cash deal will help bolster Monstanto's agriculture analytics and risk-management capabilities. The Climate Corporation was venture backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, Google Ventures, NEA, Index Ventures, Atomico, Glynn Capital, and Western Technology Investment.
