OnBeep Gets $6.25M For Wearable, Push-To-Talk Devices
San Francisco-based OnBeep said today that it has raised $6.25M, to develop a new device to offer push-to-talk communications with friends and associates. The funding came from Avalon Ventures, and also included an AngelList syndicate including Gil Penchina, Matt Mullenweg, Jeremy LaTrasse, Jonathan Heiliger, Fuel Capital, and others. The company is led by Jesse Robbins.
