AltspaceVR Finds $5.2M For Virtual Reality API
Redwood City-based virtual reality API developer AltspaceVR said yesterday that it has raised $5.2M in a seed funding round. The funding came from Dolby Family Ventures, Formation 8, Google Ventures, Lux Capital, Foundation Capital, Rothenberg Ventures, SV Angel, Haystack Fund, Tencent, Raine Ventures, Promus Ventures, Western Technology Investment, and others. The startup operates a platform which allows developers to create and share VR experience.
