San Francisco-based
AltspaceVR, a developer of virtual reality chat rooms, has raised $10.3M in a new funding round, the company announced this morning. The funding came from Tencent, Dolby Family Ventures, Raine Ventures Lux Capital, Western Technology Investments, Maven Ventures, Promus Ventures, Streamlined Ventures and Rothenberg Ventures, as well as Comcast Ventures. AltspaceVR is led by Eric Romo, and has now raised $15.7M in funding.
