PeopleNet Buys Cadec Global
PeopleNet, a developer of fleet management software which is owned by Sunnyvale-based Trimble, said this morning that it has acquired the assetsof Cadec Global. Cadec is a developer of software for the trucking and driving industry, particulary for the foodservice and private fleet market. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. PeopleNet is based in Minnesota. The companies said that Cadec will become part of PeopleNet, which is part of Trimble's Mobile Solutions business.
