Indegy, a developer of cyber security software specifically for the industrial control systems market, has raised $12M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Vertex Ventures Israel, and also included Aspect Ventures, SBI Holdings of Japan, Shlomo Kramer and Magma Venture Partners. The company says it has now raised $18M in total. As part of the funding, Aviad Ariel of Vertex joins the company's board. The company said the funding goes towards scaling sales and marketing in North America, Europe and Asia, plus its R&D operations, which are in Israel.
