Mountain View-based Ooyala, a provider of online video streaming services, said this week that it has scored a win with Brazilian online movie rental company NetMovies. OOyala said that NetMovies is launching a new web-based movie streaming offering called NetMovies Live, which will use the firm's video delivery technology. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. The firm said its technology will be used to allow viewers to stream feature films from NetMovies' web site. NetMovies' currently has rights to stream 100 classic films, though the firm claims it will be expanding that list to "a few thousand" later this year.
