Auris Robotics Gets $280M For Surgical Robots
San Carlos-based Auris Robotics, a surgical robot developer, disclosed this week that it has raised $280M in a Series D funding. The funding was led by Coatue Management, and also included Mithril, Lux Capital, and Highland Capital Partners. Auris is developing robots which use micro-instrumentation and data science for treating early stage lung cancer without incisions.
