Datos IO Acquired By Rubrik
San Jose-based Datos IO, which develops backup and recovery software for NoSQL databases and other big data filesystems, has been acquired by Palo Alto-based Rubrik. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Datos IO was venture backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners and True Ventures. Datos IO was led by co-founder and CEo Tarun Thakur, who joins Rubrik as head of a new business unit, called Rubrik Datos IO.
