Rubrik Rounds Up $261M For Cloud Data Backup
Palo Alto-baseed Rubrik, which develops cloud data management and backup software and services, has raised $261M in its Series E funding, boosting its valuation to $3.3 billion. The funding came from Bain Capital Ventures, along with Lightspeed Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, and IVP. Rubrik's co-founder and CEO is Bipul Sinha. According to the company, it has now raised more than $553M in equity for the company. Rubrik's software helps companies manage backup and recovery, archive, and more across both the cloud and traditional enterprise data centers.
