Agilent Acquires Geneohm
Santa Clara-based Agilent Technologies said on Wednesday afternoon that it has acquired Geneohm, a privately held company developing software for laboratory management. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Geneohm was based in Lausanne, Switzerland, and had 40 employees. The company's flagship product was SLIMS, a laboratory software automation software used by biobanks, research labs, and gene sequencing facilities.
