Automattic Acquires PollDaddy
San Francisco-based Automattic, the firm behind the popular Wordpress blog software, said Wednesday afternoon that it has acquired PollDaddy, a maker of polling software which works with the Wordpress platform. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. PollDaddy was a two-person startup based in Ireland.
