Chegg.com Buys CourseRank
Santa Clara-based Chegg.com said today that it has acquired CourseRank, a Mountain View startup which provides information about how professors are rated by other students. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. CourseRank was founded by three Stanford University students, and is headed by Filip Kaliszan. Chegg said CourseRank is already being used at around 175 colleges and universities across the U.S.
