Chegg Buys InstaEDU
Santa Clara-based Chegg said yesterday that it has agreed to acquire InstaEDU, which operates an online tutoring marketplace. The deal was worth $30M in cash. InstaEDU's online platform helps connect students with tutors across a wide range of subjects. InstaEDU CEO Alison Johnston Rue will continue on with Chegg to lead Chegg's tutoring business.
