Intel Capital, the venture investment arm of Intel, has made an investment in enterprise mobile application management firm
Apperian, in a strategic investment. Apperian is based in Boston, and is also backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and North Bridge Venture Partners. Size of the new funding was not disclosed, however, Apperian said it has now raised $28M in total funding. Apperian's software is used by enterprises to manage mobile content and applications.
